All of my clients go through our own unique process as a part of their comprehensive financial plans. Your Comprehensive Financial Checkup™ is designed to combine all the information we need to custom build a plan for you with the functionality YOU need to understand that plan and be able to interact with your money efficiently and effectively.
Step One – Your Financial Health Pre-Screening: We always spend around 30 minutes on the phone, that way we can get an idea of what you’re trying to accomplish and what you may be looking for help with when it comes to planning with your money. We call it A Financial Health Screening, and this is a great way to determine if you need to come in for an Office Visit, because who wants to get a checkup if there’s nothing wrong with them?
We will discuss any questions you have about working with us and cover the next steps if it sounds like we can help you. If our Comprehensive Financial Checkup is right for you, we would be happy to pencil you in on our calendar for your Office Visit.
Step Two – The Office or Video Visit: I would be happy to invite you down to my office in Bellevue, WA so we can meet personally or we can set up a video conference online if that works better for you.
The Office Visit is where we take your Financial Vitals, our in-depth analysis of your financial situation and explore your goals from several different angles to provide you with the most comprehensive set of tools we can to get you on track for retirement.
Your Financial Vitals Include
Your Financial Temperature™ – this is where we discuss your future goals to get a handle on exactly what it is you’re trying to do with your money.
We help you quantify your financial goals during this step. After we take your financial temperature you’ll have a more in-depth understanding of your own money goals that make your plan unique by painting a picture of your ideal financial situation based on those goals.
Your Financial Pulse Rate™– your financial pulse rate is your present situation, this is where we take an in-depth look at where you have your money invested and the strategies and ideas you have used to get you to this point.
We take a solid inventory of your assets at this point and also take a look at your income and expenses to better understand your current situation and any challenges you may be facing with your money.
BONUS – Your Personal Investment Risk Profile – as an added value to our clients we include a Riskalyze™ risk profile as part of Your Comprehensive Financial Checkup; this is where we use Nobel Prize-winning science and research to determine your individual Risk Number™. Your risk number is a number between 1-100 (lower=less risk, higher=more risk) that represents the actual risk you personally feel comfortable taking with your investments.
Many investors today are taking on a higher degree of risk than they think they are in their investment portfolios. By offering a complimentary Riskalyze™ risk profile, we can help you determine exactly what type of portfolio best suits your individual feelings and expectations you have for your money.
Through the use of this innovative software tool, we analyze your current investment portfolio piece by piece, test it against the stress of the market and help you determine exactly where you should be invested based on your own individual Risk Number™. Riskalyze™ is just one of the many tools we use to engineer our financial plans around your specific needs because you’ve got specific goals in mind.
Your Financial Respiration Rate™ – what elevates your breathing? When we check your financial respiration rate, we find out exactly what challenges with money you have that could potentially keep you from achieving your financial goals when it counts. Everyone gets heartburn sometimes, this is where we find out what gives you yours when it comes to your money.
When we know what gets under your skin, we can use the right tools to turn your potential challenges into your financial success.
Your Financial Blood Pressure™ – Your blood pressure goes up and down sometimes, but can be a very good indicator of stress. When it comes to your money, we help you identify what type of effect that stress is having on your present by quantifying the potential future impact of not reaching your goals in the timeframe you’re shooting for.
Another Bonus – Your Financial Planning Chart: Shortly after your Office Visit we will send you a Financial Planning “Chart” Summary of your financial situation and goals in an easy to understand email format.
The Chart is where we recap your Office Visit to make sure we are on the same page about exactly what is going into your plan and includes a checklist of any additional documents or next steps in the planning process that may be needed so we both always know we’re on the same page when it comes to your plan.
Step Three – Imaging – Just like in an x-ray session, we import your entire financial scenario onto our planning platform so we can see it all in one place and start working on ways to achieve your financial goals. During our Imaging phase, we integrate the accounts that need to be included in your plan into our financial planning software, which allows us to start setting goals in the program, crunching the numbers and engineering the most efficient path to your financial success.
The Imaging phase is also when we analyze and stress test your current investment portfolio (if needed) using Riskalyze™.
Step Four – Your Financial Diagnosis™ – when your comprehensive financial plan is complete, we deliver your entire plan in an easy to use online interface within our financial planning software.
At this point we can make tweaks to the plan if needed online- you will also have the ability to log-in and update things like your financial goals or even tweak your own financial goal numbers around to see what an extra dollar here or there could do for you over the long-term. We may also include PDF versions of certain reports if necessary.
Step Five – Your Financial Care Plan™ – This is the implementation phase of Your Comprehensive Financial Checkup™ and lasts anywhere from a few weeks to a couple months as we implement your plan and position your assets in the appropriate places to help you reach your financial goals.
Our goal here is to help you achieve your goals in the most time efficient manner possible, we will provide recommendations to improve your situation by utilizing both Investment and Insurance products. We will always explain to you how much you’re paying in fees so there’s no confusion about what you do and don’t have to pay for.
When questions need answering, we are here for you. Brein Wealth Management, LLC has an open door, open video, and open phone policy with our clients and conducts annual reviews with all active account holders.
